As a certified Mentor Coach, Pat has had extensive training in developing leadership, communication and strategic thinking competencies using carefully designed performance management tools. Coaching is a competency required for success in a wide array of roles both inside a organization and out. Whether you are an internal coach in an organization such as a hospital or a professional coach/consultant wanting to develop a sustainable income, Pat’s three programs are designed to meet specific needs while growing the individual professionally.
Program 1. Building Your Coaching Business/Practice
One key to this process is the development of a practical plan that outlines both the coach’s strategic direction and the relevant action steps that must be completed in order to be successful. Many coaches begin their practice to help others in their world, but get discouraged by trying to figure out how to successfully build an income as well as a reputation. Pat’s years of building a successful business of her own, as well as knowing the tools needed for success, allows her to be a thought-leader with people either starting out or ready to take their practice to the next level.

My business has a stronger foundation because of her coaching and mentoring. Thank you Pat for contributing to my success!” – J. Poulton, Business & Life Coach, Canada
Program 2. Mentoring with Supervision
Unlike generalized mentoring, Mentoring with Supervision is for coaches intent on applying for their certification or credentials. The mentoring is completely focused on increasing your ability to demonstrate the coaching competencies – whether in a “live” exam or on a recorded session.
Mentoring with Supervision includes:
- Demystifying the Coaching Competencies set out by the International Coach Federation (ICF)
- Review of live or recorded coaching sessions with written feedback
- Creating a challenging, yet safe partnership so that you can grow as a professional coach
- Specifically addressing your ability to meet the expertise required for a particular level of credentialing.
- If needed, a letter of recommendation to present with your application at a level the Mentor can support.
Success Stories
“Pat White is an awesome mentor coach. I am in my first year of internal coaching, and she was exactly what I needed! She gave me meaningful feedback on my recorded coach sessions in preparation for ICF certification, and helped me to focus on specific areas where I needed to improve. She was also a tremendous help in mentoring me with some of my more challenging coach clients.
Lastly, she gave me great advice on how to promote my coach skills within my organization to help me grow professionally. Her sense of humor made our sessions relaxing, and I looked forward to each and every one of them.
Partnering with Pat is a decision I’m so glad I made!” J. Colbert, Internal Coach & HR Manager, PA
“Thanks, Pat. I’m so glad (sic) referred me to you. Your style is great — very reinforcing — very constructive. You helped me feel so much more confident in my coaching by reinforcing my strengths and giving me concrete pointers for getting better.” J. Bolick. Chief Learning Officer, NC
Program 3. Group Mentoring with Supervision
Some coaches have worked with a Mentor Coach and had “supervision” (with feedback) at an earlier time, and now find themselves needing to invest again in order to meet the requirements for a new credential or renewal. The ICF allows an applicant to have up to seven (7) hours of Group Mentoring, as long as it is focused solely on coaching skills, i.e. no business or personal development. This face-to-face experience is guaranteed to build confidence and stretch you to become a more masterful coach.
The Group Mentoring Program includes two 3 ½ hour sessions at a greatly reduced fee (generally a savings of more than $900.00 for the same hours with a private Mentor Coach). These sessions are for people who are close to completing their coach-training program and are limited to no more than six people in each group which is held in Brentwood, TN. (Allow us to make recommendations if you are traveling in from a distance).
Sessions are scheduled in the spring and fall and are based on demand. Contact us to let us know if you are interested.
